I got a free trial kit of Clean Face Mild Toner and Mild Lotion when I bought nose strips from The Face Shop last July. It was a blessing in disguise, since I’m searching for new skincare products to try (that time I was eyeing Tony Moly Dr. Tony AC Control line). Perfect timing cos I need to tame those pesky lil zits popping out when I sleep late! Lol. So yeah, it was love at first use! It has everything I look for in a toner and moisturizer that I want to commit in a full-size product asap! 

Clean Face Mild Toner

Content: 130ml

Product claims:

• A toner that provides quick and effective care for skin troubles
• Controls excess oil and sebum secretion
• Contains Tea Tree extract which removes acne-causing bacteria
• Gets rid of impurities

How to use:

• Dispense an appropriate amount to cotton pad and apply gently all over the face.

PROS:

- clear, watery texture
- thin consistency
- soothing on skin
- mild green tea scent
- sturdy glass bottle

CONS:

- fragile-looking glass type of packaging; you can barely see how much product left

Clean Face Mild Lotion

Content: 130ml

Product claims:

• A lotion that provides quick and effective care for skin troubles
• Helps calm skin irritation
• Contains Tea Tree extract which helps to prevent acne formation
• Promotes the regeneration of skin to help treat even old acne scars

How to use:

• After applying Clean Face Mild Toner, dispense an appropriate amount and apply gently all over the face.

PROS:

- milky white consistency of this emulsion is a winner for me (LIGHTWEIGHT)
- non-sticky, not greasy
- moisturizing
- absorbs quickly
- a tad bit watery but very easy to spread
- mild green tea scent

CONS:

- THE FREAKING BOTTLE!!! I mean, trying to get the lotion out of its unsqueezeable glass bottle with a small nozzle is one of the most frustrating things you can do — imagine doing that in the morning and at night? Seriously, it’s like shaking out ketchup in a ketchup bottle. HAAAATE!
